Population migration is an inevitable phenomenon of economic and social development. The large-scale floating population has injected vitality into urban development. At present,China is in a critical period of in-depth development of new-type urbanization. The urban residence intention of the floating population is considered to be an important index to measure the level of local urbanization development and urban integration. With the development of society and economy, economic factors such as income are no longer the decisive factors restricting migrants to stay in cities, people pay more attention to the impact of public welfare such as urban health security on themselves. In this paper, the impact of urban health security on the long-term residence intention of the floating population as the research topic, mainly explores four issues: The first is to examine the current status of health security and long-term residence willingness of the floating population;the second is to study whether health security has a significant effect on the long-term residence willingness of the floating population;the third is to compare the degree of influence of various health security items on the long-term residence willingness of the floating population;and the fourth is to deeply analyze the heterogeneity of the impact of health security on the long-term residence intention of different groups and the floating population in different regions. This article uses the 2017 National Health and Medical Commission's key special survey data on the health of the floating population in eight representative cities of Suzhou,Qingdao,Zhengzhou,Changsha,Guangzhou,Chongqing,Xishuangbanna,Urumqi, and uses the literature research method, empirical analysis method and the comparative analysis method explores the impact of health security on the long-term residency of migrants from three aspects:basic public health services, medical insurance in the inflowed regions and medical services.Combining sample data, first of all,a description and statistical analysis of the current status of health security access and long-term residence willingness of the floating population is found. The study found that the level of access to urban health security of the floating population in China is still low, especially in terms of medical insurance in the inflow region, which is close to 70% Migrants did not receive medical insurance in the place of inflow. The long-term residence willingness of the floating population accounts for more than half. There is a significant difference in long-term residence willingness among the floating population in different household registrations, generations and different regions.Next, this paper uses a binary logistic regression model to focus on the impact of urban health security on the long-term residence willingness of the floating population. The research results show that basic public health services, medical insurance in the Inflowed regions and medical services have a significant positive impact on the long-term residence intentions of the floating population, among them, the medical insurance of urban workers in the inflow area has the greatest influence on the long-term residence intention of the floating population,in addition, research has found that the same type of health security varies among different household registrations, generations, and different regions, there are also significant differences in the effects. Finally, based on the above research conclusions, this article puts forward corresponding policy suggestions on enhancing the long-term residence willingness of the floating population from the aspect of urban health security.
