Research On Comprehensive Evaluation Of Urban Competitiveness Of Yichang City

At present,the competition situation faced by China's state and cities is becoming more and more complex,and the pressure and challenges of fluctuation,disorder,uncertainty are becoming more and more severe.Improving the competitiveness of cities has become an important part of economic development strategy,and it is also an inevitable choice for Yichang's economy to enter a new stage of transformation and development.As a city with a long history of development and a provincial sub-central city,how to view its comprehensive competitiveness and how to enhance its competitiveness are of great importance to the construction of Yichang as a national regional central city and a world famous hydroelectric tourist city.This paper holds that urban competitiveness refers to the ability to gather resources,occupy markets,create wealth,provide welfare and radiate regions under the background of global economic integration and market competition globalization,which is embodied in the comprehensive influence on certain regions,countries or international markets,and the ultimate economic sustainability of cities.Sex will depend on the attractiveness and aspiration of living space.Based on the analysis of the source of urban competitiveness,this paper considers the direction of promoting urban competitiveness,focusing on the analysis of the explanatory framework of urban competitiveness.Three dimensions are selected: economic basic competitiveness,livable environment competitiveness and sustainable development competitiveness.This paper focuses on the comparative scope of cities by constructing an index system which is in line with the situation of Yichang city,using principal component analysis,and chooses eight cities included in the "one principal,two deputy and multi-level" of the province as comparative cities,so as to have an accurate,comprehensive and profound comprehensive evaluation of the comprehensive competitiveness of Yichang city.From the overall situation,Yichang ranks first in most indicators of nine cities,second only to Wuhan,indicating that Yichang has a strong competitiveness in nine cities,but the current competitive situation is that its advantages are not good and its disadvantages are inferior.Among them,the index of secondary production as a proportion of GDP,private economy,per capita household electricity consumption and per capita urban road area ranked first in nine cities,indicating that Yichang's development is still dominated by industrial economy,with strong vitality of private economy,and its competitive advantage lies in infrastructure and living environment;while GDP index and social consumer goods are zero.After the total sales growth rate and the high-tech proportion ranking,it shows that Yichang's economic development is slow,domestic demand has not yet formed,and the development of high-tech is not enough.The government plays a vital role in the development of the city.From the perspective of political economy,the city belongs to the production relationship,while the government belongs to the superstructure;the production relationship determines the superstructure,so the urbanization determines the government function.The government function should serve the urbanization,but the government in the superstructure plays a guiding and management role in the process of urbanization development.Aro und this center,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the government level to enhance the competitiveness of urban sub-projects,and makes strategic choices on the government level to enhance the mode.
