Study On The Residents' Satisfaction Of Rundown Urban Areas Renovation In Zhengning County

As a problem left over from the development of the times,rundown urban areas exist widely in cities at all levels in China.With the socioeconomic development of China,and the renewal of urban planning and construction,the renovation of rundown urban areas was officially included in the extent of China's affordable housing construction in 2008.The livelihood renovation project has been carried out in various parts in China.However,as the renovation project of rundown urban areas has begun smoothly,problems in each stage of renovation have gradually emerged,which directly affects the overall satisfaction of the residents from rundown urban areas in the project.As the direct beneficiaries of the renovation,the residents of rundown urban areas are the core of the project.The satisfaction of the residents is an important part of measuring whether the project has achieved the desired effect or not.The study of the residents' satisfaction on renovation of rundown urban areas can provide reference for the formulation of renovation policies and implementation plans of rundown urban areas in the future.The thesis analyzes the current situation of the renovation of rundown urban areas in Zhengning County,Gansu Province,on the basis of reading related concepts and theories by referring to relevant materials,empirical investigations and empirical analysis methods by taking residents there as respondents.Then the author selected indicators,designed corresponding questionnaires,and 222 of which were distributed.Through SPSS to establish a multiple ordered logistic regression model,the key factors affecting the satisfaction of residents of renovation are obtained,and finally put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.In general,the study drew the following conclusions: First,through research on the status quo of the renovation,it is concluded that the main problems currently existing in the process of rundown urban areas renovation in Zhengning County are: the interests of residents,the difficulty of relocation,the difficulty in raising funds,and the methods of assessment for the completion of the renovation are not comprehensive.Second,through data description and regression analysis,the significant factors that affect the satisfaction of residents in Zhengning County are: education,surrounding greening,medical facilities,educational facilities,public facilities,the distance between the community and the county center,fully understand the compensation policy and the living security of the residents.Third,to improve the satisfaction of residents in the overall renovation of rundown urban areas,strengthen effective communication with residents,and understand the needs of residents.At the same time,to ensure that the transformation process is fair and transparent,and raise the awareness of the masses;to standardize the demolition process and change the attitude of staff;to increase community activities and draw closer relationships with neighbors;to improve property services and pay much more attention to the needs of residents;to select locations rationally and synchronize supporting facilities.
