Research On The Construction And Application Of Competency Model Of Guangdong X Prison's Police

At present,the judicial system is facing a series of reforms.Prison,as the executing organ of punishment,is bound to make a new breakthrough in the reform.However,for a long time,the prison police force has been characterized by low professional quality,outdated knowledge structure,lack of legal awareness and low working enthusiasm,which has seriously hindered the development of prison work.Therefore,using modern human resource management means to improve the professional quality of prison police has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper takes the construction and application of the competency model of X prison police in guangdong province as the research object.Firstly,on the basis of referring to relevant literatures and combining with the competency theory,the competency model of X prison police in guangdong province is preliminarily constructed by using the scientific behavioral event interview method.Secondly,combining with preliminary build model,developed the X prison competence characteristics questionnaire and carries on the revision and inspection.Finally,it is concluded that the X prison police competencies model including business knowledge,business skills,emergency ability,communication,teamwork,fair and just,mental toughness,analytical thinking.Finally,through the investigation about the present situation of X prison police competence characteristics and influence factors analysis,put forward to set up management ideas based on competencies model,build a model based on competence characteristics of cultural system,police selection model based on competence characteristics,establish training system based on competencies model,establishing performance management based on competencies model,based on competencies model of career management application strategy.This study provides new ideas and directions for the human resource management of X prison in guangdong province,and has positive significance for improving the management level of X prison in guangdong province and theprofessional quality of the police.
