| Urad people are one of the descendants of hassar,the second brother of Genghis Khan.They moved from Hulunbuir to Hetao area in 1649 and have a history of more than 300 years.In order to ensure the continuity of the ethnic group and the healthy operation of the society,the Urads have formed a complete social organization,that is,the aimag organization of the Urads,which is the secret of their reproduction.This paper is written on the basis of an on-the-spot investigation of the three Urad banners in Bayannur City,Western China.It aims to describe an organization of the Urad people and its operation mechanism.Through field investigation and research,it is found that the organization of the Urad people’s mark consists of two systems: the successor system and the administrative system.Inheritance system ensures the continuity of ethnic group,which not only refers to the birth of new life,but also refers to the nurturing of new life to ensure that it can become a social element playing a role in the social structure.The administrative system provides a position in the social structure for the social elements.These two aspects constitute the whole content of a Urad ’s life and ensure the reproduction of the urads.First of all,the succession system is a fission branch of different grades based on the single lineage succession group of the urads,of which the obug is the lowest fission branch in the succession system,and the succession system is composed of many obug.Bayannur City,which is mainly composed of Urad people,is also a local administrative system in China,and it is composed of many regional organizations of different levels-Wusu group,Gacha,Sumu and Qi.There is an overlapping relationship between the successor system and the administrative system.Secondly,the operation of the organization depends on two types of systems.The first is the informal system in the succession system,that is,the integration of many good offices and black houses through traditional activities in nomadic culture;the second is the formal system in the administrative system.The administrative units often hold some activities,which are determined in a certain clear form and organized and implemented by the administrative units.Their functions are to strengthen the ties among members and strengthen the social groups Conclusion and maintenance of social operation.It is these two systems that make up the operation mechanism of the organization of the Urad people’s mark,and this dynamic operation mechanism also well answers Friedman’s doubts about the "clan village mystery". |
