With the continuous development of the cities and towns in China,most of the surplus labor force in rural areas has assembled in cities and towns,and the number of left behind children in village is also increasing.Because of the absence of parental care and lack of emotional support,some left behind children's psychological capital,such as optimism,sense of hope,resilience and self-efficacy,is not well constructed,which leads to the abnormal socialization process.As a professional helping activity,social work follows to the idea of helping people and self-help,the three working methods and development mode,which are more suitable for solving the problems of mental capital of left behind children in rural areas.On the basis of previous studies,combined with the actual situation of left behind children,using the existing children's psychological capital questionnaire,this paper analyzes the general situation of left behind children's psychological capital,and the differences under the grouping of external factors and demographic attribute variables.It is known that in rural areas,the mental capital level of left behind children is lower than that of non left behind children;there is a significant difference between the time of parents working outside the home and the self-efficacy of left behind children;there is also a certain difference between interpersonal communication and gender groups in demographic attributes for left behind children's mental capital;further through group social work in social work The intervention of left behind children in rural areas was studied by means of social work and case study.It was found that group work was carried out by relying on school social work;case work was carried out by relying on family treatment for guardianship status;and comprehensive service strategy was carried out by relying on advantage perspective for interpersonal initiative and academic performance,which could help the left behind children in rural areas in their growth process Help to improve their psychological capital level,effectively improve the psychological problems of left behind children in rural areas,and better promote the socialization of left behind children.
