Research On Social Work Intervention For The Spiritual Needs Of Elderly Migrant Workers

The elderly migrant workers over the age of 50 have to stay away from home because of the burden of life and work on strange land.These elderly migrant workers who have been physically incapable of reaching their end of life,and some even reach the age of retirement,still stick to their jobs,repeating heavy work every day,without entertainment,others will not experience their sadness.The important social issue that we should pay attention to is to effectively improve the spiritual living conditions of elderly migrant workers,and improve their quality of life and happiness.From the perspective of social work,this study uses Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,social support theory,and advantage perspective theory as theoretical support.Taking elderly migrant workers as research objects,using literature method,interview method and case method to help them improve their mental needs and subjective well-being.Finally,this article summarizes the effectiveness of service implementation and the practical process of intervening in the spiritual life of elderly migrant workers,and gives some relevant suggestions on how to meet the spiritual life needs of elderly migrant workers.In order to promote the development and progress of social work,it provides a reference for improving the spiritual life of elderly migrant workers in China.
