Research On Public Participation In Community Charity Service Organizations

In the process of economic reform and opening up,China has always studied citizens' participation in social grassroots governance,and at the same time citizens have played a greater role in the process of social governance at the grassroots level,especially in the process of community governance,citizens are joining in more ways than one.However,in the process of social governance at the grass-roots level,there have been some deficiencies.In community governance,the government has long occupied the dominant position and neglected the role of citizen participation in community governance.Fortunately,with the continuous development of China's economy and society,it brings about the redistribution of social resources and the reorganization of social structure.In community-level governance,it is a structural transformation from the past governance only by government to the coexistence of governmental,non-governmental organizations and society.More and more social organizations are involved in community-level governance.The Red Cross society of China is one of them.It not only provides emergency assistance to the affected people,but also earnestly strengthens the construction of grassroots organizations and actively participates in the governance of grassroots communities.It plays an increasingly important role in grassroots governance.Based on the theory of governance and citizen participation,this paper taking the Shanghai Red Cross service station as an example,systematically understands the problem of citizen participation in governance at the grass-roots level,and puts forward some reasonable improvement measures.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly on the background and significance of this topic,research status at home and abroad and the theoretical basis of this paper was introduced.The second part is the research and design,mainly introduced the basic concept and theory of grass-roots social governance and citizen participation.The third part is the beneficial attempt that citizen participates in the grass-roots social governance.This paper expounds the present situation and achievements of citizens participating in the governance of urban grass-roots communities,and sums up the relevant domestic experiences,so as to provide references for the following work.The fourth part is the influence factor of the residents' participation in Shanghai Red Cross Service Center,pointing out the influence factor of the residents themselves and the social environment in the process of the residents' participation in the grass-roots social governance.The fifth part is the way to realize the residents' participation in the Red Cross service terminal in Shanghai.Based on the systematic platform,channels and environment of citizen participation,this paper puts forward some useful countermeasures and suggestions to promote the effective,orderly and extensive participation of citizens in grass-roots social governance.
