In recent years,QingHai's tourism industry has developed rapidly,and its linkage effect has driven the development of the catering industry in the central city of XiNing,especially the halal catering industry,which has become a cultural card of "The Magnificent QingHai".The prosperity of the market has attracted more and more female migrant workers to flood into the city and join in.Taking the female workers in the halal catering industry in XiNing as the research object,this paper conducts a field survey on the work,family,life,social communication and spiritual life of female workers,so as to see how female workers groping to become "amphibious people" between rural and urban areas.How to carry out urban cultural adaptation in the process of settling down;And how to adjust and express oneself between tradition and modernity.This paper is divided into six parts: the first chapter is about the origin and significance of the research,and then the relevant literature is sorted out and analyzed.The second chapter analyzes the background and development status of the rise of halal catering industry in XiNing,as well as the basic information of the two "field point" restaurants D and R and the author's experience of working.Chapter 3 discusses where female workers in the halal restaurant industry come from,their diverse identities and motivations for migration,and why they become "caterers".The fourth chapter combines the author's own experience to analyze the social adaptation of female workers in the workplace,including the division of labor in the hotel and the hotel's discipline on them,as well as the strategies for female workers to take the initiative to adapt to the workplace.The fifth chapter sums up the wonderful urban life of female workers from the aspects of their spirit,such as the change of consumption concept and leisure and entertainment way,the half-integration of family roles and the new relationship circle.The epilogue reflects on the opportunities and challenges that rural women face when they come to the city.
