Auxiliary police can be considered as a special and supplementary police power that assists the official formal police force to accomplish the missions such as arresting crimes,preserving social orders and protecting communities.The main differences between the formal police and auxiliary police include social security treatment,affiliation relationship and duty empowerment.With the development of modern society,social conflicts become sharp and intense.The police power,in general,plays a significantly important role in dealing with more and more complex issues.The inadequate police force is one of the most crucial factors which restricts the police system ‘s evolution and mission competence.Thus,there are many local police office recruiting a large number of auxiliary police officers to make up for the insufficiency.However,the quality and quantity conflict occurs in the management of a high efficient term.The requirements of auxiliary police are relatively low so that they haven't enough professional skills and knowledge.This phenomenon results in a high turnover of resignation,poor professional recognition and an inefficient working attitude.Therefore,how to standardize and improve the auxiliary police management becomes the most important factor to strengthen the reformation of the police system.This report mainly focuses on auxiliary police management using the methodologies of social investigation and literature review,including the knowledge of professional police and human resource management.Four steps are highlighted based on theories and practice:Auxiliary police's occupational recognition and its current condition;Figure out the challenges and restrictions of their job satisfaction;Pointing out some symbolic drawbacks in both internal and external of the police system;Providing suggestions to improve the entire term's efficiency,solidarity and professionalism.The purpose of this report attempts to clarify the dilemma of auxiliary police management interview,and offer some solutions,especifically,to build up a sustainable value of auxiliary police,which can accelerate the process of police reformation and eliminate the waste of police power.Overall,the auxiliary police management should balance the relationship between the police institutions and police officers to enhance the police system as a whole.
