The reform of the post system of judges is the core content of judicial system reform.On the one hand,it enables excellent judges to gather at the front line of handling cases and improve the ability of judges to perform their duties.On the other hand,it is necessary to realize "let the judges judge and be responsible for the judges",and establish a judicial power operation mechanism and trial supervision and management mechanism in line with the characteristics of the judicial profession.In order to coordinate with the reform of the post system of judges,the courts at all levels in China have basically introduced new performance appraisal methods according to the actual situation,and scientifically assess the newly born "post judges".The performance appraisal of post judges is of great significance to the implementation of judicial responsibility system and the standardization of judicial power.It is also an important content for the people's court to build a standardized,professional,revolutionary and professional team.After selecting post judges according to the unified deployment of provincial and municipal courts,P County Court of Zhejiang Province adjusted the establishment of institutional personnel and refined the performance evaluation methods of post judges.Through in-depth investigation and research in P County Court of Zhejiang Province,and collecting a large number of scholars and experts' works on performance appraisal,the author makes full use of the theoretical knowledge of public management,and puts forward suggestions for improving the current performance appraisal method of post judges.By analyzing the performance appraisal methods of post judges in P County Court of Zhejiang Province,and combining with the actual work of the court,this paper points out the problems existing in the current evaluation methods,and puts forward targeted improvement countermeasures by referring to the performance evaluation methods of domestic and foreign courts,so as to establish a more scientific and reasonable and perfect evaluation system for the court,and increase the scientific knowledge of professional ability and legal literacy of post judges To meet the new needs of judicial system reform.This paper innovatively proposes to introduce the third-party evaluation,appropriately join the external forces for assessment,and proposes to link the withdrawal of posts with the backward performance evaluation,and adopt a more strict elimination system of the last place.This paper consists of seven parts.The first part briefly describes the research summary at home and abroad,as well as the research background and significance of this paper,and puts forward the author's research ideas,methods and innovation points.The second part describes the basic concepts and theories related to the judge's performance appraisal,citing the theory of target management,key performance indicators and relational performance theory as the theoretical support of this paper.The third part mainly analyzes the current situation of the performance appraisal of the post judges of P county court in Zhejiang Province.The fourth part analyzes the problems existing in the current assessment.The fifth part analyzes the reasons for the performance appraisal of the post judges of P county court in Zhejiang Province.The sixth part is through the collection of domestic and foreign experience in the performance appraisal system,through comparison to learn from.The seventh part is for the court post court performance appraisal system,in view of the analysis of the problems,put forward suggestions for improvement.
