American College Students' Employment Policy

The employment problem of college students has been the focus of the society,along with our country' s higher education popularization.Since the development of college expansion,college students' employment situation in China is more and more serious,the employment pressure is increasing,and the employment environment is more and more complex.It is difficult to solve the employment problem of University Students.However,solving the problem of employment of university students not only influences the issues of employment structure of labor force,personal survival and development,but also impacts on the economic development and social stability.By comparison,The United States' investment on higher education has a vaster scale,at the same time American also has the fastest higher education development.US' education system has long been recognized all over the world as the most perfect education system,while the employment policy of American college students has played an irreplaceable role in the system.The United States attaches great importance to the employment college students with regard to education and training,the employment security and policy guidance also witnessed the good development and remarkable effect.For the consolidation and development of employment policy,American has made long time attempt and exploration in the aspects of employment policy and legislative protection,also accumulated relatively rich experience.Based on the American employment policy of college students,this paper summarizes the development and basic rules of the employment policy on college students and tries to explore related revolution.At the same time,this paper may try to use stakeholder analysis framework from the perspective of the influence of college graduates,employers,government and universities in employment policy,hope to explore specific measures of USA college students' employment from the analysis,the frame of analysis also has reference significance to promote the employment policy of university students in China.Combined with the characteristics of higher education in our country,it has important enlightenment significance to the employment of college graduates in China.The main body of this paper is made up by four parts.The first part mainly introduces the perspective in this research,namely the stakeholder theory.It expounds the basic idea of framework which includes the basic view of stakeholder theory and the relationship between university stakeholders and college student employment policy.The second part summarizes the main content of college students' employment policy in America and discusses the related contents of it.The analysis on development trend of employment policy of college students,its characteristics and main policy are included.In the third part,this paper analyzes the influence of four behavior subjects and specific measures through the influence and effect on university stakeholders.From the four angles of the government,colleges,employers and universities,the influence on American employment is elaborated.The fourth part tries to explain the reference of the employment of college graduates in China inspired by the American employment countermeasure in the perspective of stakeholder theory.
