With the comprehensive promotion of basic educational curriculum reform,we need to change our educational thinking and teaching philosophy.In order to thoroughly implement innovative curriculum reform,according to the requirements of the curriculum reform the majority of teachers should advance with the times.The implement of the quality of education focus on the majority of our teachers.The level of their teaching skills and the educational philosophy they own are the important keys of the comprehensive development of quality education.Their classroom teaching skills directly reflects the level of their teaching skills and their educational philosophy.Especially the beginning teachers,they became teachers only for a short years and less teaching experiences,their classroom teaching skills will have a great impact on the promotion of the curriculum reform.So how to help beginning teachers gradually become qualified and excellent teachers,and how to quickly improve their classroom teaching skills,are urgent problems at present.The main methods adopted by this research include literature analysis,questionnaire and classroom observation.By literature analysis,we summarize the present status of classroom teaching skills,and define the basic concept of this research;By questionnaires and classroom observation,we found out the real level of classroom teaching skills of high school teachers in Wuhan.By the dividing line of five years teaching experience we divided the whole teachers into two groups,the beginning teacher and the experienced teacher.Through the two sets of data analysis and comparison,we explored the real level of classroom teaching skills of beginning teachers and the problems they existed.The survey results show that the beginning teachers exist some problems in mastering the classroom teachers skills and they need to be improved.Many of them lack the accurate and scientific awareness of classroom teaching skills,and the teaching skills they master are inflexible and effectiveness.They also showed a lack of deep understanding of the subject knowledge.However,the teachers'teaching skills can be trained and promoted,so we give some solutions based on the research of this study.Combining the results of survey data and classroom observation we give some advice on improving classroom teaching skills of high school beginning teachers in Wuhan.There are two aspects:First,the school level,schools should strengthen the training of teachers in the classroom teaching skills,and establish smooth communication platform for teachers;Second,the level of teachers themselves,teachers should first adjust their mentality and build a positive self-concept of success.Then they need to learn more in order to update their knowledge reserves.Finally they should strengthen self-reflection and enhance their own driving force so as to achieve the self-development of their classroom teaching skills.
