Secondary vocational education is the inevitable outcome of the vigorous development of society.It focuses on training professional and technical personnel who can match the speed of modern social progress,and be able to meet the needs of the modern science technology and economic development,and these people can be engaged in the work of specialiazed labor in the field of production or service.Along with the mathematics widely applied in all walks of life,mathematical literacy has become one of the basic literacy of the public.And these changes will lead to conflict in the ordinary high school education,the current mathematics teaching mode and the mathematics curriculum of secondary vocational education.Because of the differences in training objectives,level of students,faculty,testing methods,teaching contents and methods between these two kinds of education,obviously secondary mathematics teaching can't copy the mathematics teaching mode of ordinary high school.We are badly in need of exploring the develop-ment path with characteristic of vocational education.So,how to improve the current teaching mode of secondary vocational mathematics,and make it adapt to the student's personal development and social needs,is what the secondary mathematics education workers urgently need to think about.This article is based on the welcome development of secondary vocational school and the negative teaching actualities.On the basis of existing research at home and abroad,I visited the students of ten majors,all the teachers of mathematics and some of the professional teachers who are relevant to it in the secondary vocational school where I am working now.Analysed the necessity and feasibility of the teaching mode of mathematical application combined with majors with the help of their own teaching practical experience.Under the different professional background I discussed the construction and implementation of the application teaching mode of mathematical modeling and the application teaching mode of problem solving in detail.From two aspects of teachers and students in the teaching reflection,I put forward the suggestions and the strategy for improvement in the process of teaching and learning.Finally I reached a conclusion,to break through the bottlenecks of secondary mathematics education development,mathematics teachers in secondary schools must be committed to improving mathematics application consciousness and strengthening mathematics application ability of the students in secondary vocational schools.On the one hand,it can raise the basic mathematical literacy of students,on the other hand,it can serve the current professional course teaching much better.
