The level of education is closely related to the development of the nation.In recent years,the importance of the education to ethnic minorities has been gradually strengthened in China and the national education has been developing continuously.For the development of every student is the requirements of the new curriculum,with the development of education,popularization of high school education will become a trend.However,this may lead to lower barriers to high school access,and part of the students who haven't quite strong knowledge foundation of compulsory education will be admitted into high school.There is no doubt that it will lead to high school students have more difficulties in study.However,due to the natural and social nature of geography,the students' spatial thinking ability requires high characteristics,which make it more difficult for the students to learn geography.For various reasons,this problem also exists and more obvious of Tibetan high school students.This paper investigates and summarizes the research on the study of learning difficulties at home and abroad,and makes a questionnaire and interview outline,and investigates the current situation of geography learning of high school students in three middle schools in Gannan by literature,interview and questionnaire.Among these,the interview was conducted in Chinese,the questionnaire was written in Chinese,and all of them translated by experts into Tibetan language,and then returned to experts for analysis.A total of 300 questionnaires were issued,and 276 valid questionnaires were collected.Interview 8 teachers,10 students.Data processing is done using SPSS18.0 frequency statistics and cross analysis.The study found that Tibetan high school students geography learning difficulties are;Tibetan high school students geography learning difficulties are rather common.However,the degree of geography of girls is higher than that of boys;Student geography learning attribution is not reasonable,good academic performance attribution is good,failure attribution needs to be improved;The overall efficiency of Tibetan high school students is low;Tibetan high school students geography learning methods are of great need to be improved,especially the use of map book is not enough as required;Tibetan high school students are more interested in geography,but the difference is obvious,most of them is more like learning geography,but the reason for choosing geography is very different;The differences of grade and liberal arts classes in geography learning are very distinct.After analysis,the following reasons are obtained;The influence of bilingual factors;Teachers individual differences are clear,and many geography teachers non-geography professional origin;The parents of the students are less concerned about the study of students;Students are in short of cooperative learning,and the communication and cooperation between them are limited;The learning communication in new ways are quite lack,and the accesses to knowledge are often simplex;There are also some problems in teaching management.In view of the above conclusions,the author believes that to improve the Tibetan high school students geography learning problems the need for education administrative departments,geography teachers,students and other aspects of the community should be improved a lot,and we need put forward specific recommendations.
