The production of school selection phenomenon,is the result of the students and their parents to pursue better education resources.Along with the advancement of education,national phasing out the key school system,but the allocation of education resources are still not balanced,differences still exist between schools,and parents's demand for high quality education resources are growing,which lead to "school selection hot".This paper takes primary-to-junior transferring of Kunming as an example,combined with questionnaires and interviews data,analyzing parents' school selection phenomenon in Kunming,as well as the attitude and understanding of parents and teachers about the school selection policy,and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the primary-to-junior transferring policy in Kunming.primary-to-junior transferring school selection has certain positive role,such as promoting the competition between schools,improving the education quality,however,it still has negative effects for the school,parents and students which cannot be ignored.This paper from two aspects of subjective and objective analysis about school selection phenomenon causes.And try to provide some feasible Suggestions about the primary-to-junior transferring school selection problem from policy design,weak school improvement,the configuration of teachers,the social governance mechanism,the enrollment system and so on several aspects.
