A Survey Of "Good Teachers" In The Mind Of College Students

The university is a place where pursuing of knowledge,studying of lore and cultivating talents with health,The teachers are the intellectuals and creators.Since the reform and opening up,the economy and power in Chins has grew rapidly,which promotes education drastic changed,above all,with the higher education stepping in a popular style,and the expansion of college enrollment,the quality of teachers becomes the focus all over the country.The teachers are the core,.the quality of whom influence universities directly.The teachers and students are the main groups,the study between them is necessarily,.especially in the popular of network and the explosion of knowledge.Therefore,the study of "good teacher" can benefit us much more.This study selects undergraduate students who come from three universities in different level using literature research,questionnaire survey,interviews and statistical analysis as the main methods,studying the specific requirements and characteristics in students on "good teacher".According to the study,the students have same almost requirements teacher's character(fair and equitable,clean and honest,strong sense of responsibility,integrity),knowledgeable and teaching ability is the very important characteristics.There are innovative spirit,the scientific research in a high level,high degree,concerned about the students(learning,life,emotion,employment)situation,charisma(approachable,humorous,optimistic and cheerful),the strict degree of the teacher(the rigorous examination mode of the examination,the strict requirements of the course and the high grade of the exam)are important characteristics.Combined with the results of questionnaire and interviews,this study analyzes standards of what "good teacher" ought to be,and the reasons why the students need "good teacher"?Finally,this study introduces the effective suggestions from the society,the universities and the students.
