Education is the key to a hundred-year plan;teachers are the key for education.As a group of future teachers,the quality of student teachers’ training has also received widespread attention both at home and abroad.In the process of improving the quality of student teachers’ training,the segment of student teaching has been emphasized and the construction of the internship evaluation system has become crucial.In order to train qualified teachers for the new century,the reform of the student teaching model has become one of the top priorities of teacher education reform in various countries,so the "co-teaching" student teaching model was born in this environment and through the continuous exploration of the U.S.Department of Education and universities.Compared with the traditional model,it has the advantage of promoting the professional growth of practicum teachers,and co-teaching contributes to the collaborative communication and reflective teaching skills of teachers,and this model brings opportunities and challenges to the evaluation system of student teaching.In China,student teaching is also highly valued by the government and universities.However,it is still the weak segment in teacher training in China,and so far,there is not an unified evaluation system in China,and the existing evaluation system still has man y problems.This study attempts to analyze the evaluation system of the "co-teaching" model in the United States in order to provide a reference for improving the evaluation system of student teaching in China.In addition,the St.Cloud State University in the United States was selected as a case study to conduct an in-depth research on the evaluation system of student teaching.This paper is divided into five main parts:The first part is the introduction,it mainly makes a detailed description of the pro blem formulation,research significance,literature review,concept definition,research methods and so on.The second part examines the evolution process of the reform of the educational internship model in the United States is introduced from a historical perspective,which leads to the co-teaching educational internship model and provides a detailed description of the background and development of the co-teaching educational internship model.The third part makes a compendium of the evolution process of the educational internship evaluation system in the United States,and finds that the development of its elements,such as institutional development,internship sites,and internship evaluation standards,is from single to multiple and closed to open.The fourth part makes a detailed analysis of the selected part of St.Cloud State University’s educational internship handbook on educational internship evaluation,including evaluation criteria,evaluation subjects,evaluation tools and other elements,aiming to analyze and study the characteristics of St.Cloud State University’s educational internship evaluation system.The last part summarizes the effectiveness of the implementation of the educational internship evaluation system at St.Cloud State University,pointing out the advantages of the educational internship evaluation system as well as analyzing its shortcomings from the perspectives of different stakeholders.Likewise,it is pointed out that the educational internship evaluation system has promoted the development of the cooperative educational internship model and elevated the level of the model.
