Education is the cornerstone of the continuous progress of society as well as the backbone of promoting the social and economic development of rural areas in China.The documents promulgated by the Ministry of Education all involved the issues of perfecting the training program among teachers and improving the professional quality of teachers,and emphasized the necessity to strengthen the cultivation of rural teachers.In order to promote the steady and healthy development of rural education and improve the education level of rural students.we must improve the overall teaching level of rural teachers as a whole,which plays an active role in accelerating the process of modernization in our country and is also extremely beneficial to the cause of education of our country.Due to practical reasons,basic education in Jiangxi Province,especially in rural areas,is relatively backward,and teaching faculty is weak,which restricts the balance and development of education in rural areas of our province.To improve teachers' professional quality becomes an imminent problem,and one of the most important solutions is to carry out the teacher training program.This study used interview,questionnaire,and literature methods and other comprehensive means.Ten rural primary schools and two rural middle school teachers in S County,Jiangxi Province are the objects of this study.The training status quo was investigated in the following seven aspects: the training needs,training motives,training content,training forms,trained teachers,training assessment,and training effectiveness.The result of the study shows the following problems.(1)The lack of training opportunities(2)Being trained contradicts teachers' willingnesses.(3)The teacher training content is not targeted 4)The construction of training experts is incomplete 5)Teacher training forms lack flexibilityThen,this study analyzes the causes of the problem:(1)Ignorance of the teacher's training needs.(2)The teacher training system is incomplete.(3)Teachers' professional quality is not high.(4)Insufficient funds for teacher training.(5)The teacher training management is disorganized.Through the comprehensive analysis of this study,at the end of the article,based on the analysis results,the author put forward some operable suggestions in order to further improve the level of rural primary and secondary school teacher trainingquality:(1)to optimize the overall environment of rural teacher training.(2)Pay attention to the real needs of rural teacher training and development.(3)Improve the training and selection mechanism for rural teachers.(4)Strengthen the construction of teacher training teachers for rural teachers.(5)Combining with the actual situation of the school,vigorously carry out school-based training.
