Non-verbal behavior of teachers is a symbol that teachers send to students in any non-language form in the classroom. They have five functions: substitution, emphasis, supplement, negation, and adjustment. The new curriculum standard points out that education should promote the overall development of students. At present, school education must not only enable students to acquire knowledge, but also take into account the healthy growth of students. Therefore, teachers are required not only to have a professional subject quality, but also to have both humanistic qualities. The use of teachers' non-verbal behavior-assisted teaching in the classroom is conducive to the promotion of student development.Biology is a discipline that studies the laws of life phenomena and life activities. It is closely related to human beings.Biology disciplines are also abstract and difficult to understand. Therefore, the correct use of non-language behaviors in the biology curriculum is necessary. This study uses P.Cooper's classification of teachers' nonverbal behaviors and their actual conditions to reclassify teachers' nonverbal behaviors. They are classified as follows: interpersonal distance, environmental factors, time control, personality charm, posture, contact, and sublingual language.Using it as a basis for the development of questionnaires,it investigates the influence of non-verbal behaviors of teachers on students, and conducts research based on teacher interviews and classroom observations.Questionnaire survey results show that the correct use of teachers' non-verbal behavior can have a positive impact on students, among which students pay more attention to interpersonal distance, posture, and personality charm in teachers' non-verbal behavior.Based on the analysis of the reasons, the author further combines the teaching cases and proposes the following teaching suggestions.Recommendations for interpersonal distance are divided into: theory class adopts two-turn method, one circle before class to understand the student's preparation status, second turn to the new class is completed, students turn around when doing exercises, understand the new class of students, and experiment Classes should always pay attention to the student's operations and provide timely guidance. For the environment, the classroom environment should be conducive to students' physical and mental health.Properly posting some inspirational words or indicative slogans will form an invisible hint for students to promote students.Progress; For the suggestions of time control, teachers should put an end to the phenomenon of being late, and adjust the rhythm or content of the class according to the student's response in the classroom; The teacher's instrument image suggests that the teachers' clothing, makeup, and personality should be harmonious. In addition, they must have profound knowledge.posture advice, teachers should use their own physical potential to assist in biological teaching, such as facial expressions, eyes, body movements, etc. For the biology department should be combined with the teaching content of the use of biological "non-verbal "behavioural advantages" to teach;for the paraphrasing, the advice is appropriate pause, timely Change the tone and change the speed at the right time;for the teacher-to-student contact suggestion, the contact may have an alternative role.In the classroom, actions such as patting shoulders may be used instead of encouraging speech.Contact may also substitute for criticism. The use of shoulders as a substitute for verbal criticism not only preserves students' self-esteem but also achieves results. However, the contact between male teachers and female students should be cautious.Teacher's nonverbal behavior plays an important role in the classroom as an auxiliary form of teacher's language.Teachers should correctly use non-language behavior-assisted instruction in the classroom to achieve the optimal use of time in the classroom.
