Linear programming is the main branch of operations research.Its formation marks the arrival of the era of mathematical planning.Its theory has been widely used in the fields of economy,finance,military,transportation,and decision-making,infiltrating all aspects of real life.In Beijing Normal University's version of Mathematics Comprehension 5,the problem of linear programming combined with functions and inequalities was set up to cultivate students' mathematical application awareness and mathematical modeling capabilities.Therefore,studying the linear programming problem under the new curriculum standard has educational value and practical significance.This paper adopts literature research method,data analysis method and case analysis method.Based on my own internship experience,I discuss the development history of linear programming.Based on constructivism teaching theory and learning transfer theory,the research on the linear programming problem in senior high schools is carried out.Firstly,the application of linear programming in high school mathematics teaching is elaborated.The requirements of teachers are put forward according to the curriculum standards and teaching materials.The development of linear programming in middle schools is discussed,the application of mathematical modeling is analyzed,and the simplex method in graphical method and advanced mathematics is compared.The difference.Secondly,the five-point college entrance examination questions were combined with the five-year college entrance examination questions,and the analysis of adaptive problem-solving steps,especially the problems of linear programming problems combined with analytical geometry,propositions,and probabilities,were summarized.Finally,the questionnaire was designed to analyze teachers and students' problems in the teaching of simple linear programming.Combined with the research content and survey results,a teaching strategy suitable for students to learn the linear programming content was developed.The feasibility analysis was conducted in the form of cases.Questionnaire resultsshow that students have a good grasp of the basic methods and the basic questions,but the conditions in practical applications are not well-understood.There are many problems in the combination of subjects with reference and other mathematics knowledge,and lack comprehensive application capabilities.It is suggested that the teaching mode be diversified,mathematics modeling questions should be introduced in the classroom,students' horizons should be broadened,and students' creative thinking ability should be developed.
