Parent education is a kind of adult education which is based on the two-way relationship between parents and children.Parenting ability is required for parents or parents-to-be to get an understanding of children's physical and mental development,in order to boost their children's growth and development.Parenting ability development is one of the core tasks to foster talents majoring in preschool education major in normal universities.The theoretical basises behind this study include the theory of Role Psychology,Adult Learning Theory and Humanistic Curriculum,focusing on the problem of the Parent education curriculum system of preschool education in normal colleges and universities in Xinjiang.Four higher normal colleges and universities in Xinjiang are selected as the research object.By using the methods of literature research,comparative research and investigation,this thesis investigates the talent training program of preschool education as well as students and teachers.The survey found that the main problems existing in Parent Education curriculum system of preschool education major in higher normal colleges and universities in Xinjiang are as follows: the ambiguity of the ideas of the curriculum,the insufficiency of content of the curriculum,the imbalance of the curriculum structure,the inflexibility of the curriculum and the deficiency of guarantee in course.The analysis shows that the causes of problems in the Parent education curriculum system of preschool education major in higher normal colleges and universities in Xinjiang are at both microscopic and macroscopic levels.At the micro level,it mainly includes the restriction of pragmatism and utilitarianism,the incomplete excavation of the content of the course,the theoretical knowledge learning is still the main mode of education and the teachers are not professional and qualified enough.At the macro level,the deficiency of guarantee and the faultiness of industry-study-research cooperation and coordination mechanism are listed as two main reasons.In view of the existing problems and their cause and practically proceeding from social and students' needs,the thesis puts forward the idea of “Four-stage”which is adapted to the development of Xinjiang vocational education by focusing on optimization ofcurriculum ideas,curriculum content,curriculum structure,teaching methods and teacher structure.What's more,it also research into the foreign experience and learn from their good points.Through this study,the author hopes that the optimization of parenting education curriculum system of preschool education major in Xinjiang normal colleges and universities can on its way,and further promote the development of Parent education in Xinjiang.
