In the context of the new curriculum reforms emphasizing the concept of quality education and all-round development,rural geography,as an important part of middle school geography and a comprehensive learning carrier,has received extensive attention from geography educators,but it still remains in the teaching practice of middle school and rural geography.There are many problems such as the lack of teaching resources and insufficient use of resources.The case of rural geography combined with 3S technology can be based on enriching the teaching resources of middle school and rural geophysics,integrating local geopolitical knowledge with a new perspective and thinking,and creating a truly “geographical classroom in life”.This will help train the overall quality of middle school students.Positive significance.This article starts from the current situation of middle school and rural geography teaching under the background of the new curriculum reform and the problems existing in practice.Combined with the characteristics of 3S technology,this paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of carrying out 3S technology-based middle school and rural geography teaching,combined with new curriculum standards and teaching materials.Summarizes the main application content of 3S technology in rural geography teaching.Taking the Nanchang city's rural geography teaching case as the entry point,the specific implementation plan of the middle school and countryside geography teaching based on the comprehensive application of the 3S technology is proposed from the three aspects of teaching materials,teaching methods and activities,and the effectiveness and problems of the case implementation are analyzed according to the teaching practice.The case teaching of rural geography based on 3S technology has positive significance for the improvement of students' learning interest and learning efficiency and the exploration of spiritual and geographical core qualities.However,there are still problems in the application of 3S technology,which requires the education department and educators to work together.Efforts have been made to promote the development of middle school and rural geography teaching practice from various aspects such as strengthening the professional training of college geography teacher majors and reducing the difficulty of using software.
