The reform and opening up has ushered in the spring of the development of private higher education in China.Because the development of education in Guangxi is relatively backward and private higher vocational education started late,the first private vocational college with qualifications for enrollment appeared in 1985.There are 15 private colleges and universities in Guangxi(excluding independent colleges and other non-academic education institutions)until the end of May 2017,the private vocational colleges in Guangxi cultivated lots of applied technology talents for economic construction in Guangxi.However,with the economic and social transformation,the optimized upgrading of industrial structure of Guangxi,the economic construction of Guangxi has required higher-level applied technology talents.At the same time,the private vocational colleges in Guangxi have strong demand for promotion because of the opportunity that the government has advocated to establish and promote vocational education system and the undergraduate vocational education.On the basis of a clear overview of the development of private vocational colleges in China and Guangxi,this article starts with a survey of the status quo of the promotion of private vocational colleges in Guangxi,and uses questionnaires and interviews to obtain first-hand information and learn about Guangxi.The internal and external motivations of private vocational colleges are analyzed and their motivation factors are analyzed.The internal motivation factors are analyzed and discussed from the perspectives of students,teachers and schools;The external motivation factors are analyzed and elaborated from several aspects including productivity(economic),policy(politics),social needs and the structure of higher education,and the establishment and improvement of modern vocational education system.Based on a systematic of the internal and external motivation factors of private vocational colleges in Guangxi,this article proposes to further analyze the realization mechanism for the promotion of private vocational colleges in Guangxi,including internal promotion mechanism and external guidance mechanism.The internal promotion mechanism mainly explores the input mechanism,development mechanism and output mechanism.The purpose is to expect the private vocational colleges to pay attention to the appropriate scale of schooling and achieve economies of scale in the investment;the development mechanism focuses on the private vocational colleges,which strengthens the connotation construction,Improves the comprehensive strength of running a school and cultivates the applied technology talents with strong social adaptability,that is,talent output.The external guidance mechanism mainly explores from three aspects:market incentive mechanism,government-oriented mechanism,and social demand-oriented mechanism.Its purpose is to show that the promotion of private vocational colleges can not be achieved without market stimulation,government orientation and social needs.The promotion of private vocational colleges can not be separated from the internal and external power,and the construction of motivation mechanism is the way to help the private vocational colleges to achieve the promotion.It is also the requirement of strengthening the connotation construction of private vocational colleges.Finally,the author summarizes and prospects that the internal logic of the promotion of private vocational colleges embodies the inherent logic of vocational education development;the external motivation of private vocational colleges is an exogenous variable affecting the level and structure adjustment of vocational education;private vocational colleges Institutions should be rationally promoted.
