It is a new trend for the curriculum reform of elementary education around the country to cultivate students' creative ability and enhance the core competence of the subject.It can be achieved through advanced educational ideas,effective teaching methods and teaching means.Creative spirit and ability,the overall development and self-learning ability of students are not only three key standards reflecting teachers' wisdom,but also may lead the reform of elementary education to success or failure someway.The "teacher centered" teaching mode,a traditional mode in Chinese classrooom,is in favor of the organization and management of the classroom to a certain extent.However,students have always been in passive position.Students' subjectivity is ignored.It goes against the cultivation of students' creative ability.This mode can't meet the requirements of cultivation of innovative talents.Therefore,it is imperative to reform the traditional classroom teaching mode of elementary education.As a result,the“Learning before Teaching,in-Class Exercise”teaching mode is born.Teaching mode is based on certain educational thought,teaching theory and learning theory.It is a stable and concise theoretical framework,which is formed based on a certain subject for the purpose to complete specific teaching goals and contents.In the junior high school political Lesson,“Learning before Teaching,in-Class Exercise” teaching mode has three basic types.They are ‘learning once and teaching twice with exercise in class',‘learning twice and teaching twice with exercise in class' and 'a few times of learning and teaching with exercise in class'.The theoretical basis of the teaching mode is philosophy,psychology and teaching theory.The teaching mode implemented in the course of political in junior middle school embodies the value orientation of respecting subjectivity of students.It helps to refine students' learning ability,reduce the burden of students,create the efficient teaching in class,and promote professional teaching competence of teachers.The application of “Learning before Teaching,in-Class Exercise” teaching modevaries in political class.It weakens the effectiveness of teaching.In order to avoid failure of applying the mode,it is essential for teachers to master and operate the main procedures properly,which includes 'learning first','teaching later' and 'exerciese in class'.In 'learning first' procedure,teachers need to control the operating norms and matters of attention in four aspects: showing learning goals,showing the self-study guidance,students' self-study and checking of students' self-study.In "post teaching" procedure,teachers should control three aspects of operation including correction,discussion and expanding of knowledge.In "exercise in class" procedure,teachers should control three aspects involving connotation,academic analysis and attention matters.The effective implementation of this teaching mode in political subject in junior high school depends on the support of school management system,the human system and the teaching effect management system.The application of these auxiliary mechanisms encourages teachers to take the development of the students as the starting point and the foothold in practice,taking the classroom as center of teaching activities.Teaching equals to the pursuit of self realization to some extent.Thus,the high efficiency class under the teaching mode of “Learning before Teaching,in-Class Exercise” can be achieved in polictical subject in junior high school.
