Life gives everyone the possibility of survival and development,without life,nothing is possible.Education is designed to promote students' healthy growth,morality and the value of life.In recent years,however,homicide occurred frequently among junior middle school students which has caused great sufferings to the society,schools and families,for which their fearlessness of life should be blamed.Hence,life consciousness education of students has aroused great concern of the society.Due to the over stress on study and being too young to have a mature view of life and values,junior middle school students will easily become confused and are apt to lose interest in life.They will even commit suicide.This,then,highlights the importance of life consciousness education of junior middle school students,which requires the return of education to essence,where the importance of life must be promoted.As for the life consciousness education of junior middle school students requires the joint efforts of the society,schools and families,especially educators are supposed to combine the features of students' development and the current teaching material,Morality and Law,trying to guide them to value and respect the life and help them to internalize it as their own cognition,namely,an instinctive response to love and protect life.Life consciousness education of junior middle school students is based on moral education and is one of its inherent requirements and duties.It is an important way of life consciousness education,as their healthy growth and development will affect the country's development and progress to a certain extent.Therefore,it is an inevitable requirement of the healthy growth of students and moral education to conduct life consciousness education.It is also the guarantee of family happiness and the inherent requirement of building a harmonious society.In view of the fact that the overall effect of the current life consciousness education of junior high school students is not obvious,teaching methods and techniques are lacking,some schools do not pay enough attention,some parents have aweak concept of life awareness,and the social environment still needs to be strengthened.Combating problems and analyzing the causes,students are lacking problem-solving abilities,moral consciousness incomplete and one-sided understanding of life value shaping.There are outdated educational concepts,ineffective educational measures and single educational methods in teachers and schools.There are also family and social factors.Hence,it needs the joint efforts of teachers,schools,families and the society to strengthen the life awareness of junior middle school students.Only in this way can we achieve a desirable result.Teachers should combine the features of the development of students and the existing teaching materials Morality and Law and help students to cultivate the consciousness of self education,guide them to form a correct self-awareness and to have good relationship with others encouraging them to take an active part in life consciousness education activities.Schools should perfect their educational concept,strengthen their moral concept,improve their education mode and create a high-quality campus environment.Families should improve their traditional educational view and create a good family atmosphere.They also should keep in close connection with the schools.The society should optimize the social environment,improve the mechanism of psychological prevention and establish close relations between schools and the society.
