This study based on the exploration of present situation of expanding reading in primary Chinese class,introduce the concept of Chinese core competencies and construct different goal-oriented teaching models.The subject conducted Questionnaires both on teachers and students.From data analysis,we found that: Both students and teachers have a welcoming and positive attitude towards expanding reading teaching in Chinese classroom;Teachers' lack of clear understanding and goal consciousness of expanding reading and Chinese core competencies leads to the formalization of expanding reading;Expanding reading in class lack of a reasonable and effective evaluation mechanism.To solve the problem of expanding reading in class,this study introduce Chinese core competencies as teaching objectives into expanding reading in primary Chinese class.Chinese core competencies includes language construction and application ?thinking development and ascension?aesthetic appreciation and creation and cultural understanding and transmission.This study constructs different teaching models with these goals separately and give teaching cases to provide reference for teachers.
