Under the influence of the concept about "1+X",this teaching material has constructed a system named "the trinity",about reading teaching,put the teaching reading,self-reading and extracurricular reading into a whole part.But in specific teaching practice,many teachers haven’t recognized the intention of the arranger and the significance of self-reading texts,and ignored the specific requirements about self-reading in the course standards,then make it difficult to achieve the teaching goal of self-reading course.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction and literature review,it mainly introduces the source,the meaning,the literature review,and the research methods of the topic selection.The second part explores the connotation and characteristics of this textbook,by analyzing the difference between self-reading and teaching reading class,to explore the orientation of self-reading class,emphasized the status of self-reading course in the textbook.The third part is the analysis of the present situation of the teaching materials,the author investigated the present situation of self-reading course,and analyzed the results of the survey.The fourth part is the analysis about the optimization of teaching strategy.This part summarized the problems existing in the teaching of reading texts,and combined cases to analyze the specific situation,and puts forward some suggestions on the teaching about self-reading texts.When using the textbook,teachers should grasp the idea of the edit,grasp the concept of "1+X",emphasis "post-graduate teaching" in teaching process,then design teaching plan under the basis of handling the text correctly.The fifth part has showed the examples of specific classes.Through the study of specific cases and the related practices about optimization strategy,to enhance the feasibility of the article,to show the significance of optimization strategy in improving the teaching validity of self-reading text.This thesis is based on the detailed investigation and analysis,focus on reading patterns about "the trinity",learning from the domestic and foreign experience adequately,I wish it will provide a little effective enlightenment for the development of the teaching about self-reading texts.
