With the development of the times and the changes of social life,exchanges of various kinds of ideas and cultures become more frequent,therefore,it is urgent to deepen the people's understanding of the importance of the China national culture,and to strengthen the study and inheritance of the excellent national culture of China.The promotion and development of national culture should start with children and schools.As one of the best ways to carry out aesthetic education in schools,music education cultivates students' sense of national pride mainly through learning folk music in basic music education.Music is the art of emotion.The study of excellent folk music works can make students learn and love the music culture of our motherland,stimulate students' love for our motherland,and thus enhance their national self-confidence.Meanwhile,it can make our excellent national music culture inherited.Based on above,the national folk music education in primary and secondary schools has great practical significance.In this paper,some primary and secondary schools that have launched national folk music activities on campus in Chengdu are selected as the research subjects,and the methods of introducing Sichuan Opera into the campus,and activities that have been carried out are expounded.It also outlines the cases of introducing Sichuan Qingyin,Chuanjiang Guozi and Qiang music into the campus,summarizes present successful experience in the implementation of folk music education in Chengdu primary and secondary schools,points out some existing problems at the same time,such as the lack of learning environment,the difficulty of collecting materials,low professional quality of teachers,and puts forward corresponding solutions to these problems.The innovation of this paper has two following aspects.First,this paper takes the national folk music education in the primary and secondary schools as the breakthrough point,which is different from the majority who takes major and higher education as their research subjects.Second this paper mainly uses the research method of case analysis,conducts a field survey on research subjects,carries out observations under natural circumstances and keeps a faithful record.
