The Chinese curriculum standard of 2017 is set as compulsory course,optional compulsory course and elective course.The purpose of elective courses is to emphasize individuality,so as to meet students' different learning needs and meet the needs of diverse talents.Since the implementation of elective courses,the first-line teachers have combined their own practical experience to explore the teaching mode suitable for elective courses.Since high school hours are limited,the pressure of the college entrance examination,many school elective courses are in the form.How to realize the "choose" of elective courses in a limited period of time,so as to fulfill the different development needs of students? Project-based learning is an effective method.As a kind of teaching activity,project-based learning can effectively solve the difficulties in elective course teaching.The thesis explore project-based learning implementation stategies of elective courses in senior high school language through documents,case study,questionnaire and interview.The theoretical basis,concept and characteristics,teaching process of project-based learning were expounded based on previous research.As well the significance and possibility of the implementation of project-based learning in the elective course of senior high school language.Furthermore,through the questionnaire and interviews for teachers and students,we can know more about the selected readings of pre-qin scholars by the PEP.Such as the teaching situation and some existing teaching problems.The author analysed causes of vague teaching aims,single padagogy,low learning enthusiasm among teachers and students,low efficiency in classroom.Finally,through the empirical study of project-based learning strategy,we try to solve the existing problems and summarize the problems in practical application.It shows that project-based learning is an effective elective course teaching model to cultivate students' language literacy and accelerate teachers' professional improvement.But it has a high demand for teachers and students.In addition,the implementation of thematic teaching also needs the support of schools and parents.
