Based on the background of the reform of college entrance examination in the new era,this paper aims to study the problems faced by high school geography teaching in the new era,and put forward specific and feasible solutions to the problems.In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the reform measures for the college entrance examination and began to try it in Zhejiang and Shanghai.This important measure has made great changes in the teaching content,the organization pattern of the class and the standard of evaluation of the achievement in the geography of high school.In the new situation,high school geography teaching faces many unprecedented problems and challenges.The policy of new college entrance examination is about to go ahead.The status of Geography in high school has changed,and the arrangement of teaching hours has changed.The original division of Arts and sciences will be replaced by the shift system.This change is a new model for students and teachers,and there are also unavoidable problems.Based on the reform of the college entrance examination policy in the new period of study,the problems in the process of implementation of the pilot areas of policy analysis,the high school geography teaching in the new era will be faced with the problems,combined with the status quo of the level of education and high school geography teaching syllabus in China,put forward the effective solutions.Based on the methods of document retrieval,comparative analysis and so on,from the perspective of the reform of college entrance examination system,combined with the research results and teaching methods of the provinces that take the lead in the implementation of 3+3 entrance examination mode,this paper analyzes all aspects of the problems faced by teachers and students in the new situation.The practice of investigation,questionnaire analysis,analysis of students under the new situation in the course selection,encounter geography learning problems and corresponding solving methods respectively,teachers are facing the new situation and new requirements,students of geography learning,how to meet the needs of students learning geography,complete knowledge,enhance the ability,practice becomes the problems to be solved.In view of the problems arising from the geography teaching in high school in the new situation,we should seize the root cause to solve the problems.From the school level,the level of teachers,the level of classroom teaching and the improvement of teachers' own quality,the solutions are put forward respectively.Schools should improve hardware facilities,pay attention to teacher training,teachers should improve classroom efficiency,optimize teaching design,use case teaching,attach importance to ability training,improve their quality and meet students' requirements.Based on the great background of the reform of the college entrance examination in the new period,this paper provides a new way of thinking for the geography teaching in high school and helps the implementation of the new college entrance examination policy.
