Innovation is the driving force behind the country' s progress and social development,and entrepreneurial activity is an important carrier for the country and society to achieve innovation and development.With the accelerating process of China's industrial transformation and the increasing employment pressure,college students' entrepreneurship has become a kind of college students' career choice and the realization of human capital value encouraged by national policies.The identification of entrepreneurial opportunities as the primary link of entrepreneurial activities plays an important role in entrepreneurial practice.Individuals with entrepreneurial intentions can only successfully identify and exploit potential business opportunities before they can make subjective entrepreneurial enthusiasm an effective entrepreneurial practice.The identification of entrepreneurial opportunities is the most important part of entrepreneurial activities and plays a crucial role in entrepreneurial practice.Individuals with entrepreneurial intentions are only able to successfully identify and exploit potential business opportunities before they can use entrepreneurial ideas as entrepreneurial practices.Based on the recognition of opportunity,it plays a key role in successful entrepreneurship.The identification of entrepreneurial opportunities has always been the focus and focus of research in the entrepreneurial field.The core research question is how entrepreneurs identify effective business opportunities in a large number of business opportunities.Scholars try to answer questions from the perspectives of individual characteristics,social characteristics,and policy environment of entrepreneurs,but they still cannot fully explain why some individuals are more able to identify entrepreneurial opportunities.Kirzner puts forward the concept of entrepreneurial alertness,that is,the ability of entrepreneurs to identify information opportunities that others can easily overlook because they do not need to deliberately search for information.This provides new research opportunities to better explain this issue.This study starts from the individual's achievement motivation,risk bearing awareness and innovation consciousness,and uses entrepreneurial alertness as an intermediary variable.Based on cognitive theory,the entrepreneurial alertness dimension is defined as the three dimensions of sensory alertness,alertness alertness,and alertness alertness.Through the establishmentof intrinsic links among variables,a research model focusing on “individual characteristics? entrepreneurial alertness ? recognition of entrepreneurial opportunity” was constructed.This study mainly addresses the following questions: Firstly,what are the effects of the individual characteristics of college students on the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities? Secondly,does the individual trait of college students have an impact on entrepreneurial alertness? Thirdly,how does entrepreneurial alertness affect the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities? Fourthly,does entrepreneurial alertness play an intermediary role between the individual characteristics of college students and the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities? Using a combination of literature research methods,survey research methods,and empirical analysis methods,this study initially proposes the direct role model of individual traits of college students in recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities and the partial mediation of the impact of individual traits on the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities with entrepreneurial alertness as an intermediary variable.model.The data of this study are mainly from undergraduate students,and Descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity assessment,fitness test,structural equation model test,and causal path analysis of the sample and the scale were performed using SPSS19.0 and AMOS17.0.The following conclusions are drawn:Firstly,individual dimensions of college students and entrepreneurial alertness have different degrees of influence on the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities.College students' achievement motivation,risk-taking awareness and innovation awareness all have a significant positive impact on the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities.Perception of alertness,alertness of thinking,and alertness of response all positively impact the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities.Secondly,the individual traits of college students have a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial alertness.Achievement motivation,risk bearing awareness,and innovation awareness all have significant positive effects on sensory alertness,alertness,and alertness.Thirdly,the entrepreneurial alertness of college students plays a partial intermediary role between individual traits and identification of entrepreneurial opportunities.The individual characteristics of college students directly affect the recognition ofentrepreneurial opportunities.There is also an indirect effect between them.When they join the intermediary variable of entrepreneurial alertness,it has a significant positive effect on the recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities of college students,leading to the identification of individual traits to entrepreneurial opportunities.The significance of the effect has been weakened.The innovation of this study can be summed up as the following three aspects: Firslyt,in the past,scholars focused on the factors affecting the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities,focusing on factors such as individual traits,social traits,and policy environment that influence the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities.Introduce entrepreneurial alertness,study the role of entrepreneurial alertness in identifying entrepreneurial opportunities,and better answer the question,“Why some individuals are more able to identify entrepreneurial opportunities?” Secondly,this study verifies the entrepreneurial alertness in the individual characteristics of college students.It plays an intermediary role with the identification of entrepreneurial opportunities and reveals that entrepreneurial alertness is an important bridge between the possibility and reality of college students' entrepreneurship,and strengthens a theoretical viewpoint that has important guiding significance for the development of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship guidance for college students.The psychological characteristics conducive to entrepreneurship should first be translated into deep-seated capabilities related to entrepreneurship,which in turn can lead to effective entrepreneurial behavior.Thirdly,the current academic community has not formed a unified view on the definition of the entrepreneurial alertness dimension.This study is based on cognitive theory.The foundation defines the entrepreneurial alertness dimension as Alertness,mental alertness and vigilance response,enriches the concept structure of entrepreneurial alertnessr.
