Gestation is a common natural physiological phenomenon that all child-bearing women must experience.During the whole pregnancy,mothers could feel huge changes both physiological and psychological.Athletic means and approaches are conducive to health of pregnant women.Since the commencement of national two-children per family policy,increasingly more and more women opt to have the second child.In this context,these questions as how to smoothly spend the whole pregnancy period,how to offer suitable physical fitness instruction to pregnant women are worth a deep profound research.Moreover,the health of women at the special stage of pregnancy should receive even more social attentions and cares.A considerable amount of literature prove that correct physical fitness activities and scientific physical exercises are conducive to both mid-term pregnant women and their fetuses,on the condition thatthese pregnant women do not have any affirmed medical exercise contrindiction.This paper investigates the status quo of mid-term pregnant women participation in physical fitness in Xuanzhou district of Xuancheng city,gets to know their sport events,intensity,frequency,time,sports field,existing issues and the relevant influence factors,etc.,deduces and summarizes laws,principles and methods on the physical fitness activities of pregnancy period,and offers proposals for mid-term pregnant women to make reasonable choices of fitness events,the proper exercise load that exclusively matches to mid-term pregnant women and physical fitness schemes,based on the physiological and psychological features of women at this period,and in combination with guiding suggestions from pregnancy experts,maternal doctors and fitness instructors,characteristics of topography and climate of Xuancheng city,condition of sports field construction,economical development level,medial and sanitary conditions and some other factors.Conclusions1.Women during the second trimester are positive in and highly in want of learning knowledge of physical fitness training.With the improvement of their social status,they change their attitude towards physical fitness training,which is mainly manifested by their hoping to receive professional fitness training and guidance in improving prenataland postnatal care,improving their own health,staying in shape,facilitating future natural labor,rooting up negative emotions,getting more confident in the coming labor,etc.2.During the second trimester,women mainly take a walk for physical fitness training,which is the dominant option for them.However,fitness training during the second trimester should be in line with the principle of comprehensiveness,and should be adjusted according to the features and needs in different stages.Without any guidance,they tend to choose a single form of training in a unanimous manner,while under the guidance of professionals,their choice are more comprehensively made.3.Women during the second trimester should do physical exercises of moderate and small intensity,for which they should make a plan.Since there are certain differences of status among them,the plan should be made on the basis of the doctor's advices.Towards different stages and months of the second trimester,they will undergo physiological changes and have varied needs for exercises,which should be considered when nailing down the exercise load.
