With the development of "double class" construction,the problem of professional development of College Teachers in China has become a hot issue in higher education again.The professional development of college teachers is the trend of the development of the times.It is the inevitable choice to promote the development of colleges and universities and meet the needs of the society.The degree of teachers’ professional development has a direct impact on the comprehensive quality of colleges and universities.As the main force of "double first class" construction,the professional development of high level teachers has attracted much attention.But there are still many problems in the professional development of the high level university teachers in our country,and the professional development of the high level university teachers will face more new challenges under the background of "double class" construction.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the professional development of the high level university teachers at the present stage.Based on the relevant theories,this paper puts forward that the professional development of teachers in the high level universities in China is mainly composed of three aspects of professional knowledge,professional competence and professional affection.In addition,the author believes that the development of teachers’ professional development should have the internationalization of development ideas,the cooperation of development mode,and the establishment of training mode.The characteristics of the diversification of the methods of body and evaluation.Taking H University as an example,this study collects the professional development of H university teachers from five aspects: the degree of teachers’ internationalization,academic ability,teaching ability,professional development consciousness and teachers’ ethics and teachers’ style.After analysis,it is found that teachers’ professional development is weak in Teachers’ development consciousness and lack of internal demand;teachers’ professional ability is not strong,teaching ability needs to be improved;teacher evaluation tends to be quantified,lack of scientific evaluation system;teacher training effect is not good,training system is not perfect enough and so on.In view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward the countermeasuresto promote the professional development of high level university teachers under the background of "double class" construction,mainly by stimulating the internal drive of teachers’ professional development,improving the professional consciousness of teachers,improving the quality of the teachers,promoting the teachers to accumulate professional knowledge,perfecting the training mechanism of teachers and improving the professional ability of teachers.It is necessary to improve teachers’ evaluation system and encourage teachers to take the initiative in professional development to promote the professional development of teachers in high level universities in China in four aspects.
