The Loss Of Local Knowledge And The Imagination Of Peasants' Urban Life

As the foundation of agricultural society,"land" is closely related to the production and life of farmers.It is the carrier of the logic of local society,an important part of material folklore,and an important research object of folklore.Farmers rely on land to get food,work on land to form a time and space view,and to inherit their ancestors through land.A farmer has poured all his hard work and achievements into one side of the land.The land is the workshop and the epitaph.Since the reform and opening up,land has become the most important space resource for all stakeholders in order to meet the high demand of economic development.The largest user of land,the largest social group in China,is increasingly estranged from the land on which it depends.This alienation of mind is externalized in the impact of urbanization on Farmers' material life world and spiritual life world,which has long been neglected and forgotten.This article focuses on the changes of farmers' minds,especially the changes in the close relationship between farmers and land.The article takes "land loss" as part of the social transformation that the rural society is experiencing,based on the land imagination and land use of the spiritual world of the peasants,based on the folklore,from the concrete experience of a country,describing the phenomenon of land loss,drawing on the tools of local knowledge,time and space concept and identity identification,and so on.After analyzing the change of the concept of peasants after losing land,the paper explores the great tension of peasants' minds and times in the lost territory.The loss of the close relationship between farmers and land is the epitome of the loss of local knowledge,including the loss of local color,the loss of intergenerational relations,the suspension of life style and the loss of social identity.This loss is accompanied by the practice of farmers' subjectivity,that is,farmers' imagination of urban life.Therefore,from two aspects of local knowledge and urban life imagination,the article analyzes the daily life and the spiritual world after the peasants lose their land,in order to portray the historical situation and social position of the contemporary farmers.
