Chinese characters are the system of writing Chinese symbols.Language symbols include sound(pronunciation),meaning(meaning),use(application),and at the same time,it also includes the recording of its text symbol—shape.To master a language in a comprehensive manner,it is indispensable for the study of its writing system.At present,everyone in Indonesia pays great attention to Chinese,and many parents want their children to learn Chinese.In the private course,the school(National School or Three Languages School)requires students to write Chinese characters.At school,writing Chinese characters is one of the categories that express Chinese.The status of Chinese lessons in schools is the same as other courses.In 2000,Chinese has become a required course in China.Before the year of 2000,Chinese was only an elective course.When I first learned Chinese,I felt that Chinese characters were a very interesting Chinese writing symbol.Originally thought,each Chinese character has its own history and significance.When you are a Chinese teacher,you need to understand the Chinese character culture more deeply and think about how you can use the Chinese character teaching method that suits your country.The main research of this paper is to analyze the common Chinese typos in sixth grade pupils.Research methods are observation,survey,and practice.Through a sixmonth internship,the author collected the operations and exercises of 92 Indonesian primary school students in the sixth grade.The result was that 1,116 common Chinese typos were found: 238 typos and 878 individual words.After collecting a large number of Chinese typos,these typos were classified.The Chinese typos were divided into three categories: strokes,structural problems,and parts problems,and the Chinese characters were divided into two categories: similar problems of sound homonyms and similar problems of characters.Finally,the main causes for the writing mistakes used by the elementary students in Indonesia are the subject or student,and the object or Chinese character itself.Thus based on the problems above,the reseacher found thesuitable teaching suggestions.
