With the rapid and comprehensive development of social sports in China,the social sports undertakings in the northwest inland of the motherland especially in Gansu Province are advancing with the times,which has particularly strong demand for professional sports personnel resources.Giving full play to the role of physical education teachers in colleges and universities is particularly important in social sports in Gansu Province.At present,the research on the status quo and how to play a good role in the participation of college PE teachers in Gansu Province is still weak and blank.Therefore,this paper tries to find out There are gaps in the reasons for this and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This article investigates and analyzes the basic situations and problems of participation of physical education teachers in 19 universities in Gansu Province,such as physical education teachers in colleges and universities,social sports management departments in Gansu Province,and participants in community sports activities.The results of the study show that the participation of physical education teachers in ordinary colleges and universities in Gansu Province is characterized by diversity,diversification,and multi-channels in terms of project,content,organization form,participation approach,and role.At the same time,the construction of institutions and mechanisms for participation of physical education teachers in social sports work in colleges and universities in Gansu Province is not adequately balanced,and the assessment and evaluation standards are not uniform and implementation is not in place;the active participation of university PE teachers in social sports work is beneficial to both society and schools.However,these roles and values have not yet formed a unified understanding in the actual work of colleges and universities in Gansu Province,in the competent educational authorities,and in the sports administrative departments of Gansu Province,not mention to have a corresponding effective mechanism to promote this work.The objective factors influencing and restricting the participation of physical education teachers in colleges and universities of Gansu Province are: the information of social sports is not smooth,the reform of social sports work system construction and mechanism is lagging behind,the construction and development level of sports social organizations is low,and the social sports cause Insufficient influence,creating a low level of creating atmosphere and environment,and the heavy workload of college PE teachers.While the subjective factors influencing and restricting the participation of physical education teachers in college physical education in Gansu Province is that the professional knowledge and ability of PE teachers in colleges and universities cannot fully meet the requirements of social sports development and work.In order to promote the active participation of college sports teachers in Gansu province in social sports,this thesis proposes to strengthen publicity for the building of the national fitness and health in Chinese,to encourage the establishment of various types of sports social organizations,and to open and integrate various types of sports resources in society.College sports teachers should actively participate in social sports and lead the new social trends to promote the construction of health in China.
