With the continuous expansion of colleges and universities,our higher education model from elite education into mass education,the number of college graduates is increasing every year,which resulting in the labor market to form a situation of oversupply,and the employment of college students has also emerged.The employment of college students has become a prominent problem in the current social development,and promoting the smooth employment of college students is an urgent social problem that needs to be solved.At present,Shanxi Province is in the period of economic transformation,and the employment problem of college students is particularly prominent.As a major energy province,Shanxi Province has a serious economic structure problem of "one coal alone" for a long time.Shanxi is over-dependent on the coal industry and with the coal price falling,the malaise of energy industry has a serious impact on the economy of Shanxi Province,and the number of unemployed continues to increase.In order to alleviate the employment pressure,scholars has been researched from the policy adjustment,employment mechanism improvement,school employment guidance and human capital investment and other aspects.On the basis of combing the relevant theories,this paper puts forward the research hypothesis from the point of view of human capital investment according to the previous research data and own investigation.Taking the human capital of college students as independent variable which representing the inherent ability of college students;Taking job search performance as dependent variable that representing college students' job search efficiency,job quality and job satisfaction.To analyze the impact of college students' human capital on job search performance;and adds vocational values as intermediary variables.This paper designs the mechanism model of the effect of college students' human capital on job search performance,prepares,distributes and recycles the questionnaire,and analyzes the data.Through a series of statistical analysis methods,such as correlation analysis andregression analysis,the research hypotheses were verified and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The human capital of college students has a significant positive impact on job search performance,which indicating that college students' human capital investment could provide an impact on their job search efficiency;(2)The human capital of college students has a significant positive impact on professional values,which meaning that the investment of human capital of college students could provide an impact on the career choice of college students;(3)Vocational values have a significant positive impact on job search performance,which indicating that vocational values,as a social consciousness,will affect the efficiency of college students' job search;(4)Vocational values play an intermediary role in college students' human capital and job search performance,which meaning that college students' human capital could affect their job search efficiency by influencing their value tendency.According to the conclusion,some suggestions are put forward to improve the performance of college students' job search: First,improve the investment of college students' human capital;Second,guide college students to set up correct professional values;Third,broaden the employment channels for college students.It is hoped that the conclusions and recommendations of the study could provide ideas for improving the employment efficiency of college students.
