Research On The Core Ideological And Political Qualities Of Students Majoring In Pedagogy

Students majoring in Pedagogy refer to those who study Pedagogy in normal colleges and universities.As the reserves of future teachers,they undertake the sacred mission of cultivating qualified builders and credible successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Their core ideological and political qualities determine the future of students of the country.Therefore,it is important for students majoring in Pedagogy to learn more about the core ideological and political qualities so that they are competent to take on the roles of teachers and able to show the qualities suitable for different situations to appropriately express themselves,which not only accommodates the educational reform and the enhancement of higher educational institutions but also is the necessity of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.With regard to the proposition of the core ideological and political qualities of students majoring in Pedagogy,this paper first expounds on the background,the meaning of the core ideological and political quality and the professional missions of students majoring in Pedagogy.The professional missions of students majoring in Pedagogy refer to the ideological and political qualities they are supposed to have as teachers in the future.Based on this connotation,this paper elaborates on the establishment of the core ideological and political qualities from the perspectives of the essence of ideological and political education,the inner requirements of students' core qualities and the professional roles of students majoring in Pedagogy.Then principles are established to provide scientific guarantee for establishing core ideological and political qualities of students majoring in Pedagogy,which are the norms to obey while establishing core ideological and political qualities of students majoring in Pedagogy.Principles of orientation are principal,principles of roles are fundamental,and principles of reality are basic.Then the specific contents of establishing core ideological and political qualities of students majoring in Pedagogy,which incorporates political,moral,ideological legal and psychological qualities,are established based on the connotations and guided by the principles.In the end,the cultivation of core ideological and political qualities of students majoring in Pedagogy is both the logical starting and terminal points of this paper,including the determination of the cultivation body,the cultivation of the students,the intensification of their cognition and the transformation of their behaviors.Therefore,the overall framework and preliminary systemic theory of core ideological and political qualities of students majoring in Pedagogy are proposed.
