With The Plan of Degree and Postgraduate Education Development in 13 th Five-Year and The Views of Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementation of Fundamental Task of Morality Education,it is the most important and very first issue which higher education faces for the comprehensive reform and development fitting the new period and situation on how to carry out the fundamental task of Morality Education,improve the quality of postgraduate education entirely,develop Key Competencies of students in each grade,and identify the necessary characters and key competencies that students should have to meet the needs of lifelong development and social development.clarifying the thought of talents cultivation with the new perspective,key competencies become the new power of the educational reform and development in China.Therefore,it is the inherent requirement and the vital content of postgraduate education to train key competencies of postgraduates.Combining with the arrangement and thought of the existing literature,key competencies and of academic postgraduates majoring in pedagogy are composed of five main aspects,including self-cognition,humanistic cultivation,learning strategy,scientific thinking and innovative practical ability.Main problems existing in the cultivation for key competencies of academic postgraduates majoring in pedagogy are among five aspects,following by unclear clarification of training objectives,unreasonable design of the curriculum,uncomprehensive training of scientific methods,imperfect educational practice and insufficient humanistic atmosphere.In view of the main problems and reasons arising from the cultivation of key competencies of academic postgraduates majoring in pedagogy,combined with the excellent practice of some colleges and universities in China in cultivating key competencies of postgraduates in pedagogy,realistic and time-based experiences have been extracted and some relevant strategies for cultivating the key competencies of academic postgraduates in pedagogy have been therefore put forward,which includes the guide of self-cognition,consolidation of learning strategy,implementation of thinking training,improvement of innovative practical ability and amelioration of cultural environment for academic postgraduates majoring in pedagogy.
