With the wide application of micro-video in the field of education in the way of micro lesson,MOOCs and flip classroom,the application research of micro-video is in the hot stage.So far,micro-video is mainly applied in basic education and online education.Therefore,there is still area for research in the application of micro-video to higher vocational education.The simplification,vivid image and repeatability of micro-video are the most important features of the micro-video.The main function is to create a good classroom environment which is more conducive to teachers to teach according to the teaching content and good for students to learn.According to their own characteristics and learning ability,the paper mainly analyzes the basic theory of micro-video resources and the importance of micro-video in order to improve the quality of higher vocational education.According to the principle of applying micro-video resources to higher vocational education(including the requirements,science,theory,practicality,applicability,validity and difference principle),the process of screening and processing video resources is expounded,and the specific process from the acquisition and addition of micro-video to practical teaching is summarized.Then,we put forward specific and effective suggestions for the application of micro-video resources in teaching,and conclude the ways and means of micro-video in higher vocational teaching.And the course content of "sensor and detection technology" is analyzed,and the case design and practice teaching of the "sensor and detection technology" course are carried out according to the applied methods.Then questionnaires are used to investigate students' feedback on micro video teaching.At the same time,the establishment of experimental class and control class will compare and analyze the usual performance and final score of students in microvideo teaching.Applying micro-video resources to higher vocational education,we can know that students in vocational colleges are positive attitude towards micro video teaching through investigation and analysis.Thanks to the properties of micro-video,micro-video can quickly attract students' attention and stimulate students' interest through the intense stimulation of visual and hearing of higher vocational students.The application of micro-video teaching in higher vocational education is not only easy to construct knowledge,but also effectively reduces the cognitive load of the students,so as to achieve the purpose of improving teaching quality and teaching efficiency.
