Reading aloud plays an extremely important role in Chinese language teaching.It is a language activity that the readers use their audio language to effectively communicate the information within the text.Reading aloud can improve students' language sense and understanding ability.Meanwhile,it can also help them develop their thinking ability and improve their aesthetic judgment.Since the new round curriculum reform,educators gradually realized the importance of reading in Chinese teaching.However,through the in-depth teaching practice and interviews with teachers,we can understand that the current Chinese reading teaching still has some tendentious problems in insufficient reading practice,low reading level,and insufficient reading guidance.Based on the existing research,through the methods of literature research,observation and action research,this study focuses on the problem of reading aloud in junior high school Chinese teaching,and tries to propose solutions.The main reason from the analysis is that teachers and students have some misunderstandings in reading aloud.Teachers' lack of high standard of reading leads to the restriction of students' reading level and teachers' lack of effective reading guidance.Finally,the proposed improvement strategies are clearing the goal of reading,strengthening the reading practice,improving teachers' reading skills,strengthening the role of extensive reading and exploring more effective ways of reading instruction.
