With the gradual expansion and the in-depth study of the curriculum reform,there is a conflict between new teaching materials,new concept of the curriculum and the traditional teaching mode.As our traditional teaching mode is challenged,the educators are searching for the best teaching way which is suitable for the new curriculum.Many educators working in schools gradually formed the "Five-step Teaching Mode" in the math class when they made the reformation of the curriculum to build an effective class.As we know,"Five-step Teaching Mode" works when the students are the principal part,and the teachers work to stimulate the desire for knowledge of the students with their guidance,and it can help to guide the students to make self-study,cooperation,research and rethink,and they also can experience the occurrence and developing process deeply.In that way,the students can gain knowledge and skills,at the same time,they can improve their ability of Mathematics.In this essay,I’ll describe the "Five-step Teaching Mode",and show you how to make the hands-on practice,independent inquiry,cooperation and communication in detail to set an example for the math teachers in Senior High Schools.I hope to provide the steps and a standard of teaching,then we can renew and improve our teaching concept.This research will test the Mode in practice from the angle of scientific demonstration.We’ll get to know the thoughts of the teachers and students in class and analyse the effectiveness of the class by the observation and the interviews.In this paper,I also choose two classes in Mianyang to make a comparison to testify the Mode.As I can see,the class in "Five-step Mode" is very efficient.But because of its high requirements,it will be a little difficult to make it practice.Maybe we can regard it as the "Dream Class" to improve our skills of teaching and controlling the class.And we can also add the guidance and enlightenment to the traditional class.In that way,we can help the students learn to think,learn to study.
