Education is the foundation of the prosperity and development of the society,and the basic guarantee for the rejuvenation of the nation.Nowadays,economic is developed rapidly in China,elementary education is the fundamental guarantee for the great rejuvenation of the whole Chinese nation.A correct understanding and research of the present situation of compulsory education in rural areas plays a crucial role in the development of rural compulsory education.The satisfaction of parents to school is one of the key contents of group satisfaction model of school effectiveness evaluation.As a group that is most concerned about the growth of children,parents are the best qualified to speak on the satisfaction of the school.Therefore,the study of the satisfaction of parents to rural compulsory education schools is of great significance to the development of rural compulsory education schools.Through this,we can not only understand the status of rural compulsory education,but also provide strong support for improving the quality of compulsory education and promote the sustainable development of compulsory education in rural areas in the future.Based on the Satisfaction theory and Stakeholder theory,from an empirical point of view,in this research the Satisfaction theory,questionnaire and interview are used.By investigating the satisfaction of the parents to the school in the stage of compulsory education in X County of Gansu Province,this paper analyzes and deals with the survey data,analyzes the status of the parents' satisfaction on the school and the factors affecting the satisfaction of parents to the compulsory education schools in rural areas,and puts forward the strategies and suggestions for the development of rural compulsory education in X county.From the four aspects which are students' training,teacher development,school environment and internal and external schools,this paper analyzes the satisfaction of parents to compulsory education schools in rural areas,and analyzes the differences in satisfaction.The following conclusions are drawn: First,the satisfaction of parents to the self-care ability of children is low.Secondly,parents are most satisfied with the development of teachers.Third,parents have the lowest satisfaction with the dimension of internal and external communication.Through the analysis of the data,we find out the defects in the five aspects of the rural primary and middle schools in X County,which are the distribution of educational resources,school management,parents and school communication,students' decompression,and the ability to cultivate students' self-care ability.And we put forward suggestions for the above problems: First,to further ensure the equity of education and to give special support to the backward rural primary and secondary schools.Second,to strength the ability of the teachers' team.Third,to guide the development of rural compulsory education schools with scientific management.Fourth,to set up a platform,which will help to enhance the communication between home and school and achieve cooperation.Fifth,to cultivate comprehensive development of students,to improve students' self-care ability.Sixth,from the school level to truly help the students to unload and reduce the negative.
