A Case Study On Social Support For Disabled Migrant Workers For Occupational Injury

In the modern society,there are many problems and deficiencies in the social support of disabled migrant workers for occupational injury in rehabilitation services.This paper takes disabled migrant workers for occupational injury in D city as the research object,and uses literature and interview methods to study the social support for the disabled by different social support entities to analyze and understand the social support status of rehabilitation services for disabled migrant workers in D City through starting form government,communities,enterprises and public institutions,and families that are closely related to the rehabilitation services of migrant workers.The author find from the survey that: social protection and policies for disabled people by government of D city are limited and insufficient;community rehabilitation infrastructure is weak.The rehabilitation personnel is not enough,practical content for rehabilitation activities lacks and organization of service organizations is single;employment support for disabled people in enterprises and public institutions is insufficient;support from family,neighbors and friends is limited.Based on these,the author finds representative service objects who get into trouble due to lack of social support through the Disabled Persons' Federation in D City.According to the social support,the author analyzes the problems faced by the service objects due to the lack of social support,designs a corresponding service program,links the missing social support system in rehabilitation services,and assist them to solve their own problems as far as possible so that they can achieve good rehabilitation results,and actively face difficulties and return to society.Through the process of individual intervention of the service objects,the effectiveness and deficiency of the social support system for disabled migrant workers for occupational injury has been explored.Finally,some relevant suggestions are put forward through the reflection of this research so as to provide some basis and ideas for the future research on the social support for disabled migrant workers for occupational injury.
