Research On The Intervention Strategies Of The Social Work Of Educational Support For Migrant Workers' Children

The children of migrant workers are a special vulnerable group in the process of urbanization in China,and their fair education problem is becoming increasingly prominent and widely concerned.For a long time,the Party and the government have provided educational support for migrant workers' children by introducing policies,financial support and providing services.Although some achievements have been made,there are still some shortcomings.Based on the theory of social support,this paper investigates the policy support,economic support and service support of two schools for migrant workers' children in Y Street,F City,using literature research,questionnaire survey and interview as research methods and data collection tools.It is found that the policy support for migrant workers' children is weak in implementation,inadequate in implementation,lack of implementation rules,and economic support exists.Supporting projects are single,the amount of subsidies is small,the investment is uneven,and the service support has some shortcomings,such as weak awareness,simpler form and lack of professional services;the policy support demand for equality and acceptance,the economic support demand for expectation and acquisition,and the service demand for desire and reception are very strong;these shortcomings and demands are not caused by unilateral reasons,but by the government,schools and institutions.Teachers,parents and students play a comprehensive role in many aspects.Based on the survey,it is found that social work should play the role of policy advocate and implementation promoter in policy support when intervening in the education support of children of migrant workers: first,combing service needs and advocating the introduction of various service support policies;second,enriching participants and calling for the formulation of rules for the implementation of admission policies;third,giving full play to professional advantages and participating in supervision to promote the implementation of policies in place.Fourthly,we should create multiple platforms and actively broaden channels to carry out extensive publicity.In the aspect of economic support,we should be the linker and integrator of resources: on the one hand,we should raise funds to encourage all walks of life to participate in helping;on the other hand,we should link charitable resources to improve school running conditions;on the other hand,we can integrate and share resource pools andbuild social support networks.In terms of service support,the roles of service designers and providers are as follows: firstly,providing advisory services to relieve students' psychological predicament;secondly,designing and organizing colorful classes to enrich their lives and enhance their personal development ability;at the same time,organizing visits to the community to promote the integration of migrant workers' children into the city;lastly,planning and carrying out parental training to improve relations;Improve the level of family education.
