Let's Make A Village Spectrum Together: A Study On The Village Community Identity Reconstruction

Under the background of urbanization,a large number of village communities have gradually disintegrated,which has brought challenges to the community construction in our country.In this process,the reconstruction of the village community has always been the key point of the study.How to deal with the identity crisis facing the village is related to the long-term development of the village community.The theory of social memory provides a new theoretical perspective for how we construct the identity of the village community.It also provides a new direction of thinking for how we carry out the work of the village in the village.Based on the case study method,this article selected M village in Xiamen as a research location.Through the attention of the M village village memory reconstruction process,the problems faced by the village under the transformation of the village in the village were analyzed,and the villagers' collaboration in the social work team was also discussed.How to make use of the subjective actions to conduct social memory selection,narrative and construction,and explore the relationship between village social memory and village identity construction.The study finds that after the transformation of the old village,the village of M has been on the road of rapid development,but at the same time it is also facing the crisis of lack of identification and the differentiation of the village boundaries;the village members,in accordance with the current needs of the village,have improved the village relations,defined the boundaries of the membership,and passed on.The history of villages uses the village spectrum as a carrier to activate and build the village's social memory through a series of actions such as self-employment,participation,and dialogue.The analysis of the entire process of making village profiles revealed that the role of the social work team has been changing,and M villagers have gradually changed from passive acceptance to active participation.M village's construction of village social memory promoted the reorganization of village relations and the determination of the boundaries of the membership,which enabled the village community identity to be reconstructed.Based on social memory to study the village community has a positive effect on the village community construction and community work in urban villages.
