The new curriculum criterion embodies the idea of "people-oriented",which is directly reflected by "students-oriented" education.This new conception has entrusted new function in class management.Recently,class management work has requires not only the ability to arrange the routine work in class,but also the target of further development for students,fully supporting students' autonomy in class management.Autonomous management in junior high school class is required on the basis of adolescents,physical and mental development in the new era,therefore,autonomous management in "students-oriented" class,rather than the traditional mode of"teachers-oriented" class,is the key factor of reform in class management.This paper focuses on the case of the author's practical teaching experience,the cultivation of self-management in junior high school.The school the author works in is a public junior high school in Pearl River Delta.This trial reform has fulfilled great achievement,therefore,the class the author taught has become "indigenous model class".Having analyzed the characteristics of teachers and students,the author had acquired effective measures,the autonomous management in junior high school class,popularizing this reform all over Pearl River Delta Area.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part analyzes the history and current situation of "Autonomous Class Management" at home and abroad,exploring the appropriate approach of the study.The second part investigates the situation of students in the local school,analyzing the main factors of the problems in autonomous management.The third part discusses design of reform for Autonomous Management in junior high school.The fourth part analyzes the successful experience of the author,exploring the empirical research of autonomous management in junior high school class.This reform is respectively divided into the three sections of management between class committees,committees and masses,and the mutual management in the whole class,expounding the students' "autonomy" in managing a class,and the effective approach of carrying out "classroom management".The fifth part concerns the reflection on the autonomous management in junior high school class,stating the achievements and shortcomings of this research,and putting forward reasonable suggestions for the unsolved problems.As is known to all,various areas in China exist imbalance in educational development,social situations,teaching staff and source of students these years due to the local policies and economic factors.When implementing the autonomous management,measures could vary from place to place.Therefore,it is worth studying from practical experience,concluding the application of autonomous managements in the local district.
