As an important part of the characters in Chinese teaching material,heroic figures are valuable teaching resources.The heroic figures in the textbook can provide positive guidance to students' thoughts and behaviors,and have a great effect on helping students develop correct outlook on life and values and the shaping of ideal personality,thus they are of great educational meaning and can not be underestimated.This paper,taking the existing Chinese teaching material published by People's Education Press as the research object,analyzes the heroic figures in the three sets of textbooks used in primary,junior high,and senior high school,through literature retrieval,text analysis,investigation and other research methods.This thesis is divided into five parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the significance of the research,the research methods and the present research status at home and abroad,and defines concepts of the heroes in this article on the basis of Chinese and Western outlook on heroes.The first chapter summarizes the basic situation of the heroic figures,and classifies the presentation modes and characteristics of the heroes.By analyzing and classifying the heroic figures,the thesis will take a further discussion on the influence of the heroic figures on the students' outlook on life and values.In the second chapter,the author will conduct an analysis of the selection of heroic figures.First,a questionnaire survey will be carried out on the heroic figures in the teaching material,which will provide a reliable factual basis for the study and make the thesis more convincing.Secondly,the author will reflect on the merits and demerits of the selection of the heroic figures according to the results of the survey.The third chapter puts forward some reflections and suggestions on the existing problems of the heroic figure selection,providing a reference for the textbook compilers.The fourth chapter focuses on the relationship between the heroic figured s anlanguage teaching.First,it discusses the existence value of the heroic figures in the textbook.Secondly,it puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the teachers'teaching strategies and students' learning methods,hoping to provide some references and help for future teaching of heroic figures.
