With the development of society,the status of women has been greatly improved compared to that before,and women's rights in various aspects have also received more and more attention.As an important window for students to understand the world,works related to female subjects in Chinese textbooks have a profound impact on high school students in terms of world view,sense of worth and philosophy.The paper mainly uses the statistical method,text analysis method and questionnaire survey method to study the works related to female subjects in the compulsory senior high school Chinese textbooks from the compulsory 1 to the compulsory 5 edition(2004 edition).The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,the author counted the number of female authors in the textbooks,titles,illustrations,and the text.Through the list,it is found that the number of female authors in titles and illustrations is much fewer than that of male authors.In the main text,women are mostly secondary characters,and foreign women are relatively fewer.Compared with ancient women,contemporary women are fewer in number.The female characters in the teaching material has important teaching significance.It can help students understand the outward appearance of women and make them feel the external beauty of women as well as obtain positive aesthetic experience.At the same time,women in the teaching materials also have intrinsic personality and talents,enabling students to learn something about women's personality of daring to resist as well as the cultural accomplishment of poetry,calligraphy and painting.The female figure in the teaching material can also make the students feel the beauty of interpersonal relationship while showing their beauty.There are no lack of great mothers' images.These mothers,images help students understand the greatness of maternal love and feel the motherhood beauty of women.High school students are in the transition period of establishing values,and have the biased understanding of love.The beauty of love displayed in the female images of the teaching materials also helps students establish correct view of love.The female characters in the teaching material gives people the enjoyment of beauty,but they also have many shortcomings.Although textbook writers do not intentionally weaken women's status,they have an objectively negative impact on students.There are fewer female characters than male characters,and sometimes there is no female character.This is not good for girls to find examples of learning;for boys,it is not conducive for them to fully understand women and establish correct gender perspective.In addition,women's identity is single,and they are mainly confined to the family sector.They play less social roles.This fact of disparity in family roles and social roles will not only affect students' future career choices,but will also be detrimental to their overall understanding of women.In the image of women in a small number of teaching materials,the women with tragic destiny account for the vast majority.Although the tragic beauty will produce inspiring power,the occurrence of a large number of tragic women will more or less solidify students' understanding of women,which is not conducive to the formation of a positive aesthetic experience and life attitude.The number of women in ancient and modern times in the teaching materials was significantly lower than that in contemporary times.Due to the differences in times,it is inevitable that students will have difficulties in understanding.Even the living environment of modern and contemporary women are quite different from that of contemporary students.Although Chinese language textbooks have undergone long-term reforms and have a high literary value,the objective influence caused by unconscious behaviors of textbook writers should also be paid attention to.Textbooks are an important medium for students to learn.Therefore,while valuing the artistic value of the works related to female subjects,textbook writers should also pay attention to the quantitative ratio of male and female images and pay attention to the influence of gender differences on students.Textbook writers should appropriately increase the proportion of female authors and female characters,as well as balance the proportion of male and female writers and male and female characters.Nowadays,more and more new women are entering the workplace,and women are playing more and more social roles.Accordingly,there are also many women like this in literary works.They set an example for students' learning and life and have a positive impact on their future career plans.While the textbook writers pay attention to the classics,they should also strengthen the concept of the times,select women that close to the students' life,and attach the importance on the values of women in the new era.As practitioners of teaching activities,teachers should make efforts for teaching reform.Therefore,on the basis of equalizing the proportion of male and female teachers,teachers should improve their own gender concepts as well as have in-depth and diverse understanding of the image of women in teaching materials to help students establish a correct gender perspective.
